The appearance, maintenance, and record-keeping of our community are in the hands of the homeowners. Volunteers elected to the Board of Directors, along with some help from our association management firm, perform all of the functions necessary to maintain our neighborhood. While the Vice President is the official contact for interested homeowners, any neighbor who has volunteered his/her time as an officer of committee chairperson could give you first-hand information regarding these functions.

The ACC team is actively soliciting homeowners to help with this critical function that directly affects the look of our community. Check out the ACC Responsibilities for a good description of the work involved. If you can help out in any way, please contact the ACC Chairperson listed on the Contact Us page.

A wonderful experience -- welcoming new neighbors! Volunteers for this function greet new people, deliver the Phone Directory, and answer questions the new homeowners may have. Interested residents should contact the GOHA Secretary listed on the Contact Us page.

Great Oaks has an effective Neighborhood Watch Program consisting of concerned neighbors patrolling the community on a random, but visible basis. This program is effective only as long as we have adequate numbers of volunteers. Homeowners should contact their Block Captain or the Neighborhood Watch Director to volunteer.
|
Block captains distribute our newsletters and other flyers. They also serve as the point-of-contact for communications with the board of directors. The neighborhood is divided into 12 routes.
